Entrepreneur Success Associate


mHUB is seeking an entrepreneurial-minded candidate to support its members across programs within its startup incubator. For the role of Entrepreneur Success Associate, we’re looking for a motivated self-starter and creative thinker with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills who enjoys the fast-paced work environment and is passionate about making an impact, autonomous work, and career growth.  

 The position works directly with the Vice President of Programs and Engagement and the larger incubator programs team to execute mHUB programs that support the development of emerging diverse product-based startups from across the region. The Associate will be responsible for venture acceleration programs across the Incubator, including educational programming the Expert in Residence Program, and mHUB’s suite of asynchronous digital tools. The role offers opportunities for career development and visibility both internally and with the wider entrepreneurship, venture, economic development, and technology/innovation communities in Chicago.

Description of Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Vice President of Programs and Engagement to spearhead venture acceleration initiatives that drive member progress;
  • Design and implement new programs/resources to accelerate investment readiness of mHUB startups, driven by industry best practices and member feedback;
  • Lead our expert-in-residence programs, amplifying engagement and impact;
  • Own and manage mHUB’s a-synchronous tools including the interactive startup roadmap, digital curriculum, and resource hub for founders;
  • Identify potential instructors, content providers, and mentors to support program development;
  • Collaborate internally with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and internal alignment;
  • Manage the coordination and deployment of education programs and services including, but not limited to, proposing and developing policies and procedures, monitoring each program’s impact, scheduling, and procurement and maintenance of materials and resources;
  • Coordinate internal and external marketing and communications for program offerings on an ongoing basis via print and digital platforms;

  • A quick learner and highly resourceful team-player, with the ability to also be extremely effective independently.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Forward looking thinker, who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions.

Requirements  

Candidates interested in applying should meet the following criteria: 

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 4 – 7 years of work experience, preferably program or project management, curriculum design and delivery, venture, or entrepreneurship;
  • An entrepreneurial mindset;
  • Strong project management skills;
  • Basic marketing and communications experience is a plus;
  • Experience with Excel and data management a plus;
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and work effectively with management team;
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills;

Salary and Duration 

  • This position is full-time and open for immediate hire
  • This position will be onsite/in-person at mHUB’s facility in Chicago

Salary range is $60,000 - $70,000, commensurate with experience
